Cooksomic is a social platform for passionate home cooks, food explorers, and culinary creators. The challenge was to create a user-friendly app experience that not only made discovering and sharing recipes easy, but also fostered interaction and a strong sense of community among foodies.

Design a visually engaging, intuitive app that inspires food lovers to connect, share recipes, and grow a vibrant culinary community.

Led the full UI/UX design process from ideation to high-fidelity mockups, focusing on usability, engagement, and visual storytelling.
Designed a clean, appetizing interface with a focus on imagery and user-generated content to keep users inspired and hungry for more
Built user flows to support content creation (recipes, tips, videos), community interaction (likes, comments, follows), and discovery (tags, filters, trending dishes)
Crafted interactive components and a scalable design system for seamless development handoff
Integrated gamified elements (badges, recipe challenges) to boost user engagement and sharing
